 July 30 - Meeting Venue - Suggestions Please! |

So, what's open at 3PM on a Sunday?  I'm good at making things difficult. For this first meeting, I figure we just need a place with tables, beverages, etc... I figure we can hash out ideas for meeting format and locations for future events (i.e. will we want to have a place to set up / display fish or plants, etc...) at this meeting without needing any special considerations for the first venue.
I'll toss in a first suggestion:
Atlanta Bread Company (the new one in the Poplar/Exeter Germantown shopping center). I currently use the other ATL Bread Co for the meetings of another Memphis group I helped resurrect, and the style of establishment is really well suited to informal, conversation oriented groups.

i could try and make it. So should i bring some of the fish stuff i have at the house for sale, or just wait until the next go aruond

cool, i've got a 30 gallon tank , some gravel , a filter , air bar , air pump , and hood/ light i wouldn't mind unloading
sad thing is... this stuff wasn't even used for 3 months (crazy girl of mine)

Hi there! I just found this site a few minutes ago. I am going to try to make it tomorrow. I have a 29g aquarium I'd love to get rid of if anyone wants it. Please let me know if interested and I will bring it with me. $30

i'll be coming from arkansas and bringing some fish, plants, and equipment I have for sale... good stuff...
keyhole cichlids
male kribensis
driftwood pieces
20g tank
29g tank
black metal 20g tank stand (holds 10g on bottom shelf)
some filters... and maybe other odds and ends
looking forward to the meeting!
